Texas Bulldogges

is family owned and dedicated to the highest of standards. Our dogs are not kennel dogs. They live and play on our family’s working Hill Country cattle ranch with our livestock and our two children. They are a daily part of our lives, and go fishing, swimming, and hiking with us.

Olde English Bulldogges are a distinct breed from today’s standard English Bulldog. As opposed to the standard Bulldog, our Olde English Bulldogges are healthy and active, can live outdoors in the Texas heat, and can reproduce without artificial insemination and delivery by C-section. They are also not burdened by the genetic health problems that the standard English Bulldog is unfortunately known for. Some English Bulldog breeders over the years have ignored medical problems in their breeding stock in order to create the toy dog of today.

Our Olde English Bulldogges are loyal, playful, protective of our children, and obedient. Our dogges are heavy-boned, wrinkly, and bully, like the traditional bulldogges of olde. All of our dogges are registered with the IOEBA-the International Olde English Bulldogge Association-the world’s largest and most recognized Bulldogge association. All our dogges receive regular preventative veterinary care at the Llano Vet Clinic under the care of Dr. Leland Kassell, DVM. (325-247-5254) Our dogges all are fed high quality food and receive the best of care.

If you are considering adding a Bulldogge to your family, please do your research before making an expensive mistake. There is a great deal of variety in the quality of Bulldogges available. Please make sure the adult dogges that were bred are representative of the look you would like in a puppy, and make sure they are properly cared for in a manner that pleases you. Some breeders breed their Bulldogges to other breeds, such as pit bulls, in order to create the temperament of dog they want. Some breed all available dogges, regardless of quality. Others breed mothers to sons, brothers to sisters, etc., in order to achieve a certain look or color, often with little concern for potential health problems. – however, we do not use these practices based on ethical grounds, and the guidelines of responsible breeding.

Texas Bulldogges only breeds non-related, healthy individuals that meet our criteria of health and quality. We reserve the right to refuse to sell a puppy to anyone that does not meet our standards for the care and wellbeing of our dogges.
